Neighborhood Clean Up
Refered to as Neighborhood Bulky Item Dropoff, together with the Inter Neighborhood Council Organization (INCO), the City of Oxnard organizes Neighborhood Drop-Off Days! Neighborhoods will have the opportunity to dispose of their large, bulky items for FREE at their specific event!
Ours was on September 7, 2024 - a number of Cabrillo residents, as well as those outside our community disposed of tons of waste.
If you missed it, or have large items to dispose of, neighborhoods throughout Oxnard will have drop off days scheduled.

National Night Out
The first Tuesday of every August is a fantastic celebration known as National Night Out! This exciting event brings together law enforcement, first responders, and community residents for a night of fun and connection.
On August 6th, 2024, we had an amazing time at Cabrillo Park, enjoying delicious ice cream, tasty snacks, and plenty of toys for the kids! The Oxnard Police joined us, bringing a motorcycle for the kids (and parents) to explore, along with several incredible drones that are now helping the department in so many ways.
And that's not all! The Fire Department wowed us by showcasing Truck 81, extending the ladder to its full height for everyone to see, and Southern California Edison brought out an amazing demostration for our residents.
